With the rise in popularity in note-taking software, Taskade offers a simplistic and narrow offering. While this certainly isn't a negative, it is currently little more than an online notepad. Sharing and creating extensive lists with multiple files is cumbersome and inefficient, especially when sharing with large amounts of people, but this isn't the purpose of Taskade. Lists pop up in new tabs, giving a simple but immediate reminder of future tasks. This can be a great motivational tool for those prone to wandering off task and navigating to new sites. While it certainly can't compete with larger competitors like Evernote or iNote, this free little plug in does what it says on the tin.

Simple but effective

If you are looking for lots of options, formats and organizational tools then this isn't your best pick. Many others can do a better job. But for a minimal tool to help you focus then you could much worse. Think of Taskade as an everlasting Post-it note attached to your browser and you will be close to its function.
